Description
‘Old Stationary Engines’ is a book crammed full of photos, illustrations and other information. It’s great reference material. Additionally, it gives some insight as to the farm machinery and associated equipment used by our pioneers. In their endeavour to settle and successfully farm their land, these relics were vital for our pioneers.
Included in the photos are those of old advertisements and signs. ‘Old Stationary Engines’ gives factual information as to the manufacture and development of these old engines. A very comprehensive identification guide as are any of his publications.
Very interesting reading with surprising facts and other information. Well worth the investment, especially if you are thinking of restoring an old stationary engine back to it’s original condition.
Definitely a ‘must have’ book for identifying those relics you find lying around and would like to learn more about them. You never know what treasures may be found!
Check out the other books we carry in the Ken Arnold collections. These two publications contain similar content to this book ‘Old Portable Engines’ and ‘Tractors and Traction Engines’
