‘Classic Tractors in Australia’ is a photographic record of just about every model of tractor ever made in Australia. Researched and compiled by Ken Arnold. Not only are the photos in colour, but also each tractor is clearly identified with a caption.
Some of the tractors pictured in this book are Allis Chalmers, Bates Steel Mule, Case, Caterpillar, Chamberlain, International Petrol Tractor and McCormick Deering. These are just a few of the names in this book. There are many more, with several different models and vintages/ages.
It would be a very worthwhile investment to purchase a copy of ‘Tractors and Traction Engines of Early Australian Farming’. In it you can read about the histories of most of the companies who made the tractors featuring in ‘Classic Tractors in Australia’.
